12" x 108" NSF 16 Gauge Stainless Steel Heavy-Duty Solid Wall Shelf

This is a great quality shelf but beware that the edges are very sharp, including the edge under the shelf. If you place this above a work surface and your hand slips and hits the shelf it can cause a major cut - one of our team just had to get 5 stitches. The edge should be blunted or bull nosed by the manufacturer. This is a major safety issue for a shelf that is sold for a kitchen environment, probably best as a chemical shelf in a basement.

Please read this before you install the shelf! I think these shelves are nice overall, but one of them did come bent in several places. It blows my mind how other reviewers have noted this, but nothing seems to have changed from a manufacturing/packaging standpoint. That is pretty bad of this company to allow this to contine. The problem is they don't put a styrofoam padding all around the product (inside the box). If they had better padding, most of these issues would be resolved. I have seen bad reviews where people are trying to line up the small holes on the brackets to the screws mounted on the underside of the shelf. That is not how this works. You are supposed to use the side which has the larger holes on the underside of the shelf, and use the smaller holes for the wall installation. Unfortunately, another fail of this product/company is there is not documentation in the box to let you know this. Lastly, do not overtighten the nuts on the screws. They will pop off if you overtighten them, and it is easy to do. Once the nut stops moving and it feels snug, stop right there. You've done enough. On a positive note, the shelves are very sturdy and once you get them up they are fine. I just wish WS would get on top of this company to package them better.
