This Regency 24" x 30" chrome wire shelf kit with 9 can racks is an ideal choice for restaurants, hospitals, retirement communities, schools, and other food service businesses that need to store large numbers of food cans! Featuring 9 total can racks, this shelving unit can hold up to (108) #5 cans or (72) #10 cans. With a durable metal construction, each individual can rack is loaded from the top, allowing your staff to utilize a first in, first out (FIFO) system for stock rotation. With this system in place, you will no longer have to worry about stock being pushed to the back and getting wasted because it surpasses its expiration date.
In addition to the can racks, there is also enough space on the shelves to store other non-canned, dry ingredients. Each shelf can hold an impressive 600 lb. and is made of durable chrome-plated metal with an epoxy coating. This not only makes the shelves ready to withstand the wear and tear of a commercial kitchen, but it also makes for more simplified cleaning. The 4 knock-down chrome posts are designed in 2 pieces that easily screw together in the middle without the use of any tools. This makes it easier than ever to take apart, transport, and set up this shelving unit.

It is imperative to consider weight capacity when selecting a shelving unit for commercial applications. Not only does weight capacity affect how much product can be stored at one time, but it affects how well the unit withstands use. If a unit is used to hold more weight than it has been approved to hold, the excess weight will compromise the unit’s integrity, damage its construction, and potentially void its warranty. Plus, because storage needs evolve with a business, selecting a unit with a high capacity can help ensure that it accommodates both immediate and future needs.
