1.0This is sized just slightly too long so that if used between 2 shelves of the same length/width, it will not slip over the clips. It works ok if it is used with a single shelf not placed too close to the shelf such as when making a work table. This is how I had used the piece in the past and never noticed that it was forcing the posts at a slight angle. It also works if just laid on the top of a shelf or set of side rails but does not leave enough room to accommodate the clips.
